Final Project Planning

I would like to make a combination of Rumba, Salsa and reggae music.

Techniques.

1) Using Ableton Live, I expect editing all:

-Drum sets,

-Breaks and beats from impulse sampler on Midi clip editor or Midi keyboard.

2) I expect importing some audio sampler from different CDs on my project so that they can be edited and mixed with my own creativity.

3) Live vocal and instrument is to be played in this project. Eg: Acoustic guitar and electric guitar.

Instruments

Midi keyboard

Electric and acoustic guitar

Ableton live program on my computer for editing and arrangement of all my music.

Live studio recording will be needed for vocal recording.

Ableton processor and effect will be used for the rest of the proct.

I am willing to be ready two weeks before the performance date to be able to get used to all arrangement made.

  1. Good project idea to move between three different musical styles. The challenge will be how you get from one style to the next. You will have to choose loops which work together and do not clash.

I like the way you break down your overall project idea into stages. To complete the plan you need to add deadlines dates for each of these stages (to show when you aim to reach each goal).

Finally, it is a definately a good idea to be ready two weeks before the performance – but perhaps a little too ambitious!
